The Brownie Disaster
No Brownie was in sorrow,
For the Christmas party was tomorrow!
They went to the hall full of glee,
But they had to flee!
Panic quickly struck,
As they struggled through vandal's muck!
No food was on an upturned table,
They struggled as hard as they were able!
Vandals at windows, at every door.
Exits were no more!
Suddenly with a shake,
The Brownie leader was wide awake.
She filled herself with hope,
She could cope!
It was all a dream,
Just like it did not seem.
Once we attempted to write a newsletter for the Brownie pack. There were three issues in all, our competition got the grand total of one entry, and we gave up in disgust after that. This poem was written specifically for the newsletter.
