LightPlot 2 is a work-in-progress. It is a design and simulation tool for visualizing stage lighting designs while ensuring that they fit within weight, power, and cabling distance constraints. It features complex luminaires, allowing animated moving lights with multiple dynamic attributes (rotating gobos, colour wheels, prisms, etc.) to be modelled and animated as wireframe images from any viewpoint. The raytracer includes bitmap texture support, shadows, and soft-focus.
